Last Year’s Local Business Success
On November 26, 2022, “Small Business Saturday” played a crucial role in supporting local economies. Established in 2010 by by American Express and co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) since 2011, this event encourages consumers to support local, small businesses during the holiday season.
In 2022 small businesses faced ongoing challenges including supply chain disruptions and inflationary pressures. Despite these hurdles, consumer support remained strong, with many choosing to shop locally and online from small businesses.
